As usual, William is very chatty that he will talk on many topics during the meal time.

Last night, over the dinner time, he told us that one of his teachers was used to be a problem kid. Precisely, that small boy would day dreamed in the class room; disturbed other kids while the teacher was teaching at front; never paid attention to his study and therefore, always get terrible marks in the examination...One day, the small boy suddenly "changed and transformed" himself (son doesn't know why and how), and finally he had become a teacher as he is now.

This teacher told son and his classmates, that everyone should have a dream. In order to make the dream comes true, they can write it down on a piece of paper and bring it along all the time, so that they will always remember their dream and make it happens one day. Ok, it's not something very special to hear, but I'm grateful to the teacher's good intention.

Then, son said he wants to make a dream for himself too. Hearing this, we are very excited and asked him what his dream is all about? He thought for a few seconds (obviously he hasn't had any dreams yet), then he said he wants to open a store and sell toys. Oh ok, there's nothing too special about it too. So we didn't make too many comments but continued our chewing activities.

*
Perhaps son had perceived our "no comment" as "cold response". He then, quickly said being a toy store's owner is a too ordinary job, he wants to do extra ordinary job instead. I stopped chewing for a while and asked him if he got any idea what kind of extra ordinary job that would be?
*
*
Son said : How about....being a president? That's an extra ordinary job, isn't? We laughed out loud, and nodded our head in full encouragement. Inside my head, I was thinking how is he going to get his vote? Son didn't stop just right here, but he continue his presidential speech...
*
*
"If I become the president, I will declare a day called "遊手好閒日 " (Do-Nothing-Just-Play Day)
*
*
Hearing this, I burst out the rice from my mouth. Wonder if he had misunderstood the 4 letter words, I asked if he knows what does "遊手好閒 " mean? He said : sure, it means we don't need to do anything, just playing all day lol. That's exactly what I want to do when I become the president later.

*
Yo, son, you have got my vote!! Give me a ten!!!

Foot note :-
You have made that "President" dream on the night we celebrated your 7th birthday.
Happy Birthday, my dear.

I welcome Xixi to the world of blogging...
Do let me know when her blog is ready, I will be her die-hard fans.
Yeah lo, it's good to have a dream, not just to the young, but to the adults like us too...too bad I have forgotten my dreams....
Yes, her blog is there but need to do lot of touch up on the setting as her mummy know nothing about blogging.
I just clicked here clicked there to see what can we do to design it.
Later i told her" I was busy too with my own stuffs, please play around n find out yourself"
I asked her to seek help from Aunty MunYee. : )Guess she either forgotten liao or too busy 遊手好閒 around as after her 2 cousins left, there come another batch. Guess we can only have a peace of mind by 30 or 31 Dec after all the guests leave our house.
She likes to read stories book and she like to write.
Since late P1 the school teacher already started to let them write journal..simple one. Not on the grammer but more to encourage them to write.
The teacher never do any marking to correct their sentences..the most, u can only find comment from the teacher about their thought after reading her journal.
Xixi also has her dairies. Sometimes she will write few lines about her thought (towards her Sis, friends, or dadyy/mummy) besides what happened around her. Sometimes she got nothing to write but just draw some sketches, with some short conversation on those characters she draw.
Overall, I do enjoy reading her journal.
You may smile or even burst out in laugh reading some of the stuff she wrote.
I dare not say she is very good but she is definitely much much better than me at this age as I don't think i can write as good as her be in in Chinese or English..
Qiqi too like to read and could be influenced by Xixi, she also like to write.
Whenever we go shopping, we can actually just dump 2 of them at the bookshop and they can sit quietly whole day there reading books.
Now, welcome to her blog

Please show her the way to read it.
Good that both of your girls love reading.
